The core part of our business is reglazing broken windows and glazing new ones. We are landlord friendly and can fix the window at a tenanted property and send an invoice to a postal address as we do for a number of landlords/property managers on a daily basis.
All glass supplied and glazed by Anytime Glass Ltd complies with the New Zealand Glazing standards NZS4223 part 3 which means, where required, we only use Grade “A” Safety Glass as per the glazing code. We make no exceptions. You and your family’s safety is paramount.
Safety of our employees is also important. It is nice to know what the access to the window(s) is like, as most windows have to be done from the outside.
We have experienced, reliable and competent glaziers working for us to ensure that your job is carried out on time and without the hassle.
If you have special requirements for your particular job, let us know. We will see if we can assist you in every way possible. For example, we can use special putty that can be painted immediately after application or there may be a particular glass that you have heard about that may better suit your needs than what is in there at present (or we can show you some samples of what is available). The more that we know before we get to your job the better we can assist you.
Once glazing has been completed, if the putty used was standard wood sash putty it is to be primed with an oil based primer. This is to be done once a skin has formed on the surface of the putty. This can vary depending on the weather and the location of the particular window, if it is on the south side of the house it will take longer for a skin to form. This can take anywhere between 3 and 6 weeks.
We offer a free measure and quote service where we can discuss with you, any of your requirements.
An email quotation service is available if you wish. All we need is approximate measurements. Once we have provided you with an estimate that you are happy with, we can arrange to fit your glass at a time suitable to you.
